Our mission at Zesty has always been to grow the economy of the spatial internet, which means:
enabling creators to make a living by building for the spatial internet
onboarding businesses so they can provide additional products and services to our ecosystem
With this mission, we're always looking for ways in which spatial creators get the most revenue out of their content. Today, we're excited to announce that builders will now have access to a greater demand for their ad units through our latest agreements with vetted ad partners.
If you’d like to begin migrating to Zesty v3, you can take a look at our integration docs. The latest SDK as always, is at its usual Github repo. If you’re a new user of Zesty, welcome! You can click here to get started.

Zesty SDK v3 provides developers with an open market of advertisers, which ultimately increases revenue and ensures a diverse set of ad buyers. We’ve significantly increased the likelihood that a revenue-generating ad is displayed on your spatial content.
One of the main changes we added for v3 is a standardization in our ad formats to one that is more widely recognized by global ad buyers. We did this by remapping our current ad unit sizes to their closest IAB match:
Tall became mobile phone interstitial
Wide became billboard
Square became medium rectangle
As we collect more data, we’ll be able to share updates on the revenue lift SDK v3 provides. We will also be connecting the existing payout method (Stripe) to this new revenue stream in the coming weeks, and support for Unity is on the way.
Some other smaller updates we’ve made to the SDK include a complete migration off of IPFS, which previously caused issues with loading assets when gateways were not available. We’ve also updated the default banners to match the latest format changes.
We will be actively optimizing for revenue in the coming months, which means experimenting with parameters such as ad refresh rates, formats and positions.
We’re excited for you to try the latest version of the SDK! If you have any questions you can ask them in our Discord and we’d be happy to assist. If you’d like to begin migrating to Zesty v3, here’s our docs.
